Research studies are designed to obtain new knowledge. Mucommune is currently in the process of making IVR's (intravaginal rings) that can become an option for women to receive a non-hormonal contraceptive. Your donation would simply be used to help us test all variables possible for our research. Some variables could include: chemistry and biology among women's samples, different bacteria populations, and/or responsiveness to our product. Your donations will also greatly help us in optimizing the product we are developing to advance female reproductive health.

Yes, you can collect samples at home. For females, we ask that you return your samples within 3 days of collection. For males, we ask that you return your sample within 2 hours of collection.

We are located at 5151 McCrimmon Parkway, Ste 220, Morrisville, NC 27560! We are in the Discovery 2 building.

You are only able to donate up to 3 samples per person. If we see something that could help with our study, we will contact you and ask for more samples.
